What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker - What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it lands.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

The speed is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform run a much wider range.

Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
